German ILLUM ADORA return once again from the gutter of the underground to celebrate their filthy 2nd Wave Black Metal.

Since seven years now the band releases at least one underground gem per year, after a full length traditionally an EP follows - and this time "Miasma of a Damned Soul" shows once again progress in songwriting and arrangements, even though the songs on the EP are rooted in old greek scene with influences of very old Rotting Christ, Zemial, Necromantia and Varathron – combined with their very own style that is called NON SERVIAM BLACK METAL – the German band unleashes another quality release that refuses to bow down to nowadays listening habits and still goes on with their very own special sound, not that sterile and same sounding one that everyone seems to produce these days. This is imperfect perfect, just like all the old 2nd Wave black metal bands that brought us closer to this music and ideology. If you cannot take the 2nd wave seriously anymore because it is old and rusty and not contemporary, you will not find comfort in Illum Adora. But if you still appreciate the musical direction once forged by the old BM Heroes from around the globe, you will definitely appreciate "Miasma of a Damned Soul".

ILLUM ADORA are still these two maniacal Scythe-wielders, Hurricane Hellfukker (founder, vocalist, ex-ZARATHUSTRA/CRUEL FORCE) and Mortüüm (drums and percussion, COUNTESS) and once again they worked with the same session-line up from the Netherlands and Italy that also recorded the previous album "Ophidian Kult" which was highly anticipated by the fans and sold in different pressings on MC, CD and LP since then. Vinyl reissues are already released or in the works for their earlier material.

Within almost 23 minutes you will get the most varied stuff that one can imagine, from the northern sounding opener that is raging like a beast from Hades, to the almost Death Metal like "Κέρβερος" which is a tribute to the Hellhound of the greek Netherworld himself: the three-headed Kerberos. This song will be premiering first with a nice lyric video in early May. "Miasma of a Damned Soul" is the third song on this EP and will be the official blasphemous video clip, that will be released on Youtube in Early June! Usually Cover versions are at the end of an album, but this time "Sleeping under Tartarus" (Zemial) is song number 4, because it fitted so much better and gives the EP are pretty great kick and ultimate just to end the EP with the epic "Ancient Nekromanteion", a tribute to Hecate and her necromantical sorcery!
