Black metal and synths, not a traditional amalgamation, but Kvalvaag have done a bang-up job. Occasional synths augment the experience to an almost whimsical level, something I find oddly enticing. That's not to say Seid isn't a blistering rush of savagery, it's still absolutely brimming with blackened elements to make any black metal fan salivate.
