KAECK was formed in 2014. Members from older Dutch Black Metal bands got together to
create dark underground Black Metal. Tapping into the genre's early days, KAECK delivers
menacing riffs, haunting keys and agonizing ritualistic vocals. The first album 'Stormkult' was
released by Folter Records in 2015. It received great reviews in the underground, and led to a
killer gig at Under The Black Sun fest in 2016.
The 2nd album 'Het Zwarte Dictaat' was written during the winter of 2020 by Kruitwagen.
Oovenmeesters lyrics were a huge inspiration for the endless barage of dark riffs. During the
recordings, the line-up changed and Kruitwagen also took up the keys like he did in the early
90s. Joining KAECK on bass and drums is R. Nillesen. Nillesens bass is overall present in the
sound and is guided by raw, old school drums. Additional percussion was recorded using
actual human bones. Oovenmeester perfected his raw vocal style. The lyrics invoke the occult
and explore the dark corners of the mind and soul. The subjects elaborate on rituals and black
magic, bending towards consulting an ancient and evil deity. Kaeck sounds stronger and
darker in 2021. The grand mix by Marco Hartgens and finally the mastering perfection of Peter
Neuber gives KAECK the sound of a giant wall of utter dark Black Metal.

It's got the unhinged, steamrolling violence of bands like Revenge, but tempered (a little) with the icy mystique of the second wave. About as violent as black metal could get without becoming something else. Very good place to be 👌 grahamy

Dark Dragons of the Cosmos originally lured me into the cosmic realms of what is otherwise known as Battle Dagorath. Distorted vocals from beyond distant stars mix with atmospheric keys and mostly razor sharp, sometimes melodic, guitar riffs, nestled into the cold monotony of a drum computer. Finally received the Vinyl Version ... ordered in 2019 ;) ... but the long waiting was totally okay when u see the product. Just great and awesome. I know the Music before from the mp3 so there was no musically surprise on. Great band for long drivings or just listen and let the mind go. I hope it is not only a one record band/project. sirdeca
